Spotts Flower Farm: Flowers from the Heart of Indy

Drive down Michigan Street toward downtown Indianapolis, and you’ll see a brilliant blur of color across from the Spotts Garden Service building. Flowering shrubs and native grasses define the edges, while poppies and zinnias rise from tidy rows. Welcome to Spotts Flower Farm.

Midsummer brings a profusion of cosmos and sunflowers to the farm.

On this formerly empty lot, Spotts Flower Farm grows organic, local flowers in the heart of Indianapolis. Our uncommon blooms are available to you as part of our floral subscription service. From late June to October, we create gorgeous bouquets from our hyperlocal flowers.

Pick up your freshly harvested, loose bouquets on Fridays from our location at 1117 Michigan Place. Subscriptions are available for weekly or biweekly plans.

  • Weekly (18 bouquets beginning June 29): $450
  • Biweekly (9 bouquets beginning June 26 or July 6): $225

Reserve your subscription today by contacting us at flowerfarm@spottsgardens.com or (317) 356-8808. To confirm your reservation, we must receive your subscription fee in full. Fees must be paid by June 15, 2018, at the latest.

Pick up a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers on Fridays in summer and fall.

Cash-and-carry bouquets are available on a limited basis every Friday. We also create special orders by arrangement.

CHOOSE LOCAL FLOWERS!

Also known as “slow flowers,” bouquets made with local flowers reflect the natural floral materials available each season. That means the flowers you get in May are different from those available in October.

Many of the flowers commercially available are imported from South America, where they are grown with extensive use of horticultural chemicals. They’re cooled, then shipped thousands of miles. Our flowers, on the other hand, are grown using organic and sustainable principles, then harvested and sold within a day or two to local customers. As a result, our flowers are fresher and more environmentally friendly.

Spotts Flower Farm also caters to florists and other wholesale customers looking for fresh, local, and unusual blooms. If you are interested in becoming a wholesale customer, contact us at flowerfarm@spottsgardens.com.
